Are you experiencing issues with your 1Focus Pro subscription? Sometimes, even after subscribing, you might find that you don’t have full access to all the features. This is because 1Focus enables Pro features based on an electronic receipt managed by Apple. In rare cases, the correct receipt might be missing, preventing 1Focus from verifying your subscription.
This guide will walk you through several troubleshooting steps to help you verify your subscription and restore full functionality of 1Focus Pro.
How to Fix Your 1Focus Pro Subscription
Try the Following
- Which Apple ID did you use to subscribe to 1Focus Pro? Log in with that Apple ID in the Mac App Store.
- Log in with the correct Apple ID under System Settings.
- Move 1Focus to the Trash, permanently delete it from the Trash and download it on the Mac App Store (no data is lost).
- Connect to the internet so that Apple can update your receipt.
- Make sure System Settings → Date & Time is correct.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure that the credit card linked to your Apple ID hasn’t expired. See payment methods.
- Make sure that your payment method has been verified by Apple (even if it worked before). See payment methods.
- Try to subscribe again. You won’t be charged twice if you use the same Apple ID.
- The subscribe button contacts a server from Apple. Can you think of any reason why that connection might be blocked on your computer (VPN, DNS, firewall, other blocker etc.)? Does the Mac App Store work correctly?
If it still doesn’t work, ask Apple Support to check the following:
- Your payment method has been verified by Apple and is still valid.
- You have an active subscription to 1Focus Pro under your Apple ID.
- You are logged in with that Apple ID in the Mac App Store and under System Settings.
- You have the correct electronic payment receipt in the 1Focus app bundle on your computer (managed by Apple).
